This 1-day tour from to Petra, Jordan from Jerusalem is an excellent adventure for early risers. you’ll be picked up at the staging point and travel south in a state-of-the-art, comfortable, air-conditioned tour bus.

We’ll swiftly cross the border into Jordan, and after a 2.5-hour drive through the magnificent wilderness, you’ll reach the Lost Nabatean City of Petra, all carved into the red rocks 2,300 years ago.

See the enigmatic Djinn Blocks which used to house Nabatean phantoms, then marvel at the enormous Petra Treasury. Feel like Indiana Johns as you discover ancient history in the Royal Tombs, and take great pics at the Petra Theater.

  • Be prepared to pay $125 in cash (USD/EU/NIS) directly to the Jordanian border authorities, for visa issuing and border fees. Have the exact amount ready to avoid any inconvenience; Travelers who possess a valid visa stamp or do not require a visa will pay $65.
  • Clothing: We recommend that you wear warm clothing in winter, a hat in summer, and comfortable walking shoes.
  • Meals: This tour will have a late Lunch; we recommend bringing snacks or sandwiches. There will be a stop for breakfast on the way south (not included in the product price).
  • The tour isn’t suitable for children under 2.
