Upon arrival to Jordanian-Israeli Borders, our representatives & guides will meet you with that Jordanian smile š ⦠the border crossing takes sometime depending on how crowded it is. You will be then in the Jordanian City of Aqaba borders three different countries: Saudi Arabia, Egypt & Israel.
Then, you hop in in one our high-quality vehicles to transfer to Petra through the high way in an interesting trip which takes one hour & a half. En route, we will be passing through some Bedouin Villages and have a stop on top of the mountain viewing Petra City, The Archaeological Park, where we will enjoy that view of the mountains among which Petra locates.
During our way to Petra, our guide will be briefing you about the history of nowadays Jordan & ancient Jordan. Also, will brief you about the Nabataeansā History & Art.
Upon arrival to the bottom of Wadi Mousa, we will be at the visitorsā center where our visit to the tremendous city starts. We will start the tour getting into the city of Petra through The Siq, a naturally-formed canyon which is considered the only way to the city where kings and queen were living more than 2000 years ago.
At the end of this 1200-meter-long Sig, we will end up at the most famous faƧade in The Nabataeansā Kingdom, The Treasury, where you will spend 15-30 minutes enjoying your time at the Treasury. Then, we will continue to The Nabataeansā Theatre which is carved onto the mountain to spend some time too before moving ahead to The Great Temple & Qasre Al-Bint, the only two buildings standing still in that area.
At this point, you will have a free time (not more than an hour) to be back at the visitorsā center where all travelers have to gather to move to a very nice restaurant for a Buffet Lunch, after which we will be transferred back to Aqaba Borders for one hour & a half for departure. Bon Voyage.
